Why a better way?

It’s taken time to think if I should write this but here I am tapping away on my phone to see what will be my journey to a better way. I started my journey back in 2008 when I knew I needed help with my anger and how I was effecting everyone close to me; the hardest part was to admit that I was needing help and picking up the phone to talk to someone…I turned to the NHS I think, cannot really remember but that lead me to a once a week presentation over 6 weeks about anger, stress, anxiety etc…I did the self help bits through the six weeks but honestly I just went through the motions these exercises didn’t really help because as always in my life I did what I had to do then sweep it under the carpet. My anger did subside but there were times that it would raise its ugly head.

At the beginning of 2018 I was flicking through Netflix and watched the now famous ,”The secret,” well Wow and oh my god it was like a revelation. The law of attraction, frequency, feelings, thoughts, vision boards and abundance it all seemed to make sense. So I had my gratitude stone my positive thoughts, but most of all gratitude. Gratitude is the key to finding a better way, I will explain more later but this is why my first blog entry is called ,”why a better way?”
