So I have been doing a fair bit of research/ video watching about this incredible man, Wim Hof, known also as the, “Ice Man,” he has been pursuing this method that he discovered when he was 17 years old.
Many universities have monitored and verified his techniques as genuine which also included group studies and experiments. I highly recommend that you do your own research into this man and his method, it’s so fascinating to me and I enjoy learning about him and the method.
What I have learnt so far;
We have white and brown fat in our bodies, brown is the good fat that burns to keep the body warm, white is the fat that sits around my mid drift and around my chops.
Our body can create environments within our bodies that are; acidic, neutral and alkaline, ( ph scale), what’s interesting is that when our body is alkaline disease and viruses cannot survive in our bodies therefore if our oxygen level is correct in the body it then creates an alkaline environment.

Wim Hof states that with proper breathing exercises, Wim Hof’s method of breathing you can influence deeply into the immune system and cells, that then can help fight viruses and disease . This is why I find this extremely interesting and will give it ago, after all this blog is about finding a better way.
Wim Hof has also said that research is being carried out with his method of breathing to see if it can help in the battle against bipolar and other mental health condition, fascinating and potentially a wonderful tool to have in your arsenal against mental health conditions that limit so many people around the world.
