Being aware of fatigue and tiredness

For a few nights now I and my wife have been getting disturbed by our dog, scratching at the door then pacing which inturn has left me feeling tired due to lack of good sleep. It’s amazing how we feel with lack of sleep and then after little sleep we are expected to carry on as normal throughout the day doing what we need to do. So for me lack of sleep means I can have a short fuse, get irritated with anything and feel fatigued which can lead to being unmotivated.

So what I do now is first acknowledge how I am feeling, be aware of my weaknesses and start by being grateful for the day, what I have etc.. actually say in my mind,

“thank you for this beautiful frosty morning, thank you for my continued good health, thank you for my wonderful warm home,” and so on.

This when said with a smile makes me feel good which in turn raises my positivity/ frequency/vibration. Moving my awareness to positive places in my mind ultimately making me feel happy. So I have watched a doctor preform some neat life hacks that can increase your energy, so today I will do this along with self healing reiki and relaxation, you could call it meditation.
Interestingly another thing I have learnt from a monk on YouTube is that if you have a hectic life, stressful day etc.. and you then kid yourself that an hour of meditation or yoga is going to make you better then that’s not the point of these activities, yes they are excellent but what he was explaining is that as an individual we should be focused on the values of these disciplines all the time, a bit like say, Husain Bolt, doesn’t just sprint then that’s it; it’s all about the preparation to the sprint, the journey, diet, lifestyle, training, recovery etc…

So today I am going to enjoy nature appreciate the beauty of everything with my better half and have me time and carry out some new techniques I have learnt so that I am relaxed, rested and in control of my actions through being aware of my tiredness
